At midnight on the crossover between the 3rd and 4th July – hairdressers were allowed to reopen. Daniel Zeichner MP was there to get a timely haircut at Piero’s of Mill Road. Members of Cambridge Community Orchestra serenaded the event with some classic Neapolitan songs sung by no less than the proprietor himself – Italian tenor (and barber and hairdresser) Piero D’angelico.
